1337rice spotted the engraved text on a stone in the PV and, with the help of love_cherry, posted the words:

remblue announced that the PV is out! 
and 1337rice kindly uploaded the PV and a PVrip, while also providing the new short list of upcoming magazines: 8/12 「CDでーた」

AiiR provided a preview clip of the Kurage, Nagareboshi PV from Zoom in!! Super on Aug 20/08 featuring some making-of footage. It also reveals that the PV was filmed on Okinawa.
AiiR found news of the Commemorative Good[s]: a T-shirt!
and 1337rice posted the accompanying comment:
love-cherry discovered a bonus website for the single: Inspired by Ai's song that laments the distance between two lovers, the site appears to offer a themed cell phone messaging service where you can send a note in the same Kurage, Nagareboshi style as Ai's Official Site!

Set to be released on September 10th, Ai's newest single is titled クラゲ、流れ星
くらげ、ながれぼし
Kurage, Nagareboshi
"Jellyfish, Shooting Star" and is accompanied by two coupling tracks, the first called H2O (presumably referring to water  ).
The third track is 雨の粒、ワルツ ～LOVE MUSiC～ (Ame no Tsubu, Waltz ~Love Music~), which literally means 'Particle/s of Rain, Waltz...,' but is probably best read as 'Raindrops, A Waltz (LOVE MUSiC).'
Perhaps this will be a new rendition of her LOVE MUSiC in the style of a Waltz...? The song's PV and lyrics certainly lend themselves to raindrop imagery... 
And now news for the rabid First Press addicts...! [Like me!] 
Due to the special timing of the release (the day after the 5th Anniversary of Ai's 9/9 debut and the second concert date celebrating it), avex will be sending out 4 different versions of the single: Standard CD Only - AVCD-31500
Standard CD/DVD - AVCD-31499/B
Debut 5th Anniversary Press CD Only - AVCD-31498
Debut 5th Anniversary Press CD/DVD - AVCD-31497/B All four covers will be different from one another.
The Anniv. Press versions won't be more expensive than their standard counterparts, but they will be limited release and each come with an 'autograph comment card' and a Kurage, Nagareboshi jacket sticker!
Needless to say, I am very excited to finally have concrete word on a new Ai release.
Hopefully the rumors will hold true and we will get to hear this new song by the end of the week!

I think I'm more interested in the third song at the moment. I do wonder if it has anything to do with her original LOVE MUSIC song or if it's something new all together.
Can't wait for the covers or previews to be released.
Having four different versions ... kind of reminds me of Ayumi's release of Mirrorcle World. |

I really hope her new single isn't as disappointing as Rocket Sneaker was. I found none of the tracks on that single memorable and not entirely worth listening to again, either.

woot, new stuff! that's awesome. there's been too few releases lately.
her ballads and mellow songs are my favourites too.
and i guess that autograph comment card won't actually contain a real autograph... although i really really hope it does! |

Thanks for the info! I already pre-ordered my copy of the Debut 5th Anniversary Press CD+DVD LTD Edition. But 4 different copies?   Once all the 4 covers are out, and If I like the other covers too, I may end up buying the other versions as well. The autographed comment card by Ai-chan sounds very interesting. >^_^< Anyways, I can't wait for the preview. Thanks!!! |
